Now just make it a multi-touch tablet (like that one education netbook) and give it the Nvidia Ion chipset and make it around US$400.

On an unrelated note, is anyone manufacturing cheap, portable, bus-powered external USB dvd/cd writer drives? Considering the exponential rise of the netbook market, I'll bet a lot of people would be interested in adding a drive to watch DVD's and such, especially once the Ion chipset gives netbooks decent enough graphics to be a primary computer for light users (especially if you have a monitor and keyboard to hook it up to at home).

Doogs

Comments on Acer's 10-inch Aspire One 103 in photos

Yes.. right when I was about to buy the original one.. how convenient.. hopefully this could make the 9" price go down :D
And I have to agree with some posters above, design wise they seem to be missing something here..
Just my €0.2 (the currency is better..)

Patriks7

Comments on Acer's 10-inch Aspire One 103 in photos

There are new photos and specs
http://www.antharius.com/blog/?p=1875

AA1 8.9″ AA1 10.1″
…
Largeur 249 mm 260 mm
Profondeur 195 mm 185 mm
Hauteur 36 mm 34 mm
…
Poids 3C 1.11 kg 1.18 kg
Poids 6C 1.26 kg 1.33 kg
…
Batterie 3C 2.5h 3h
Batterie 6C 6.5h 7h

ivan

Comments on Acer's 10-inch Aspire One 103 in photos

There are new photos and specs

http://www.antharius.com/blog/?p=1875

Voici un tableau des dimensions de la machine :
AA1 8.9″ AA1 10.1″
…
Largeur 249 mm 260 mm
Profondeur 195 mm 185 mm
Hauteur 36 mm 34 mm
…
Poids 3C 1.11 kg 1.18 kg
Poids 6C 1.26 kg 1.33 kg
…
Batterie 3C 2.5h 3h
Batterie 6C 6.5h 7h

ivan

Comments on Acer's 10-inch Aspire One 103 in photos

Que buena maquina!!!!
Entre en mi página y miren las otras que hay!

http://notebooksplanet.com

Juan
