Not sure if they'd fit over existing glasses mike...because I wear contacts :) But they were pretty cool. Not as great on some games as others - one of the FPS games they had (tried this one at pepcom) took a good two or three minutes to get your eyes focused right...but for most of the games it worked pretty well. The big Guitar Hero demo they had looked amazing, though I can't help but think about what a horrible waste of 3D that is... But otherwise, it seems like pretty cool tech. Especially because it doesn't require anything _too_ crazy - works with any existing game, with existing NVidia cards, and existing (though high end - needs 120Hz) monitors. If you've got all those, all you need is the $120 glasses.

Brian Flowers

Comments on 3D is back, but is it better than ever?

If you think that those glasses are just 1 pixel LCD screens then $120 seems pretty pricey when you can get an LCD screen of 22" with 1764000 pixels for the same money.
But it's all relative I guess, as long as they get completely black and aren't angle dependant for their blackness as some of the old shutter glasses were.

Wwhat

Comments on 3D is back, but is it better than ever?

Spiderman in 3D was the biggest ripoff only a couple of scenes were 3D and you had to keep putting on and taking off the glasses.
