If you buy a pre-configured Mini 1000 from Best Buy, it runs $399 for the 10.2" screen, 1GB ram, the 2GB "Disk-on-Key", 16GB SSD, Windows XP, etc... If you try to set up the same configuration at HP.com, it costs you $50 more. <br><br>Shouldn't these two prices be... similar? I'd probably still choose this over the rest of the pack. Been a Thinkpad user since the days of the T20 and I still have a four year old T42 running without a hitch alongside my T400.<br><br>But there's something about the S10 that seems repulsive.
