Wouldn't it be great if "Windows Mobile 7" was "Windows 7"? This would be one of the last big steps into integrating the Mobile PC (aka Laptops) with the Cell phone! I personally think they should supporting alternative architectures, mainly because it would allow them to cut into Linux's marketshare with ARM/MIPS/BBQ-based devices, and possibly encourage better programming among developers (most Windows programmers have probably never seen the word 'portable' in their lives ;). Also, that should have been a semicolon after 'architechture' (which was misspelled btw), not a comma. Here's a helpful guide I made nine days ago for anyone who's confused about that issue: http://i42.tinypic.com/zn4iet.jpg

buu700

Comments on Windows 7 gets installed on Amtek U560 UMPC, what's next?

It still does. Microsoft develops their OS to run in Intel CPUs and compatible CPUs of other makers like AMD. Is the Cell CPU from IBM which you find in the PS3 compatible with Intel's ones? Don't think so. So I don't think this W7 could run on a PS3.

Anyway... just try. That what I did.
