Wouldn't it be great if "Windows Mobile 7" was "Windows 7"? This would be one of the last big steps into integrating the Mobile PC (aka Laptops) with the Cell phone! It's already happened with Cameras and cell phones, Video/Music players and cell phones, PDAs and cell phones, even watches and cell phones (when was the last time you wore a watch?)

As soon as it's an option, I'm down for it.

I assume you mean x86_64 and x86_32 (to use the vendor-neutral terms); actually, it's a little-known fact that NT was originally intended to be portable across many different architectures, but at some point they decided it would be too much effort. I personally think they should supporting alternative architectures, mainly because it would allow them to cut into Linux's marketshare with ARM/MIPS/BBQ-based devices, and possibly encourage better programming among developers (most Windows programmers have probably never seen the word 'portable' in their lives ;). Also, that should have been a semicolon after 'architechture' (which was misspelled btw), not a comma. The installation process was very easy and now I'm running XP and W7 in dual boot. I was astonished how Windows 7 Ultimate works in that UMPC (CPU Intel A100 600 MHz) just imagine if Microsoft delivers a Windows7 prepared for UMPCs... will be even faster!!!

Previously to install W7 in my Amtek U560 I did some tests in Parallels on my iMac 20" (the one shown in the video). My problem was that the W7 works like a charm except Aero. I wasn't expecting the Aero being working in the U560 so it was a surprise since in my far more powerful iMac wasn't working.

What virtualization program are you using? Did you manage to make Aero to work on it?

Anyway... just try. That what I did. Everyone told me that the minimun CPU requirement for Windows7 was an 1 GHz processor... but I tried and happens to work in an 600 Mhz one.
