Who decides what portable is, then? It's up to the individual. If "portable" means you can carry it, then I guess my desktop PC is portable. PS1 didnt have any 'thumb sticks' or analog sticks for that point, also you can use the PSP analog stick instead of digital if you want.

Ok, to answer a few points:

Two joysticks are on all but the early versions of the Playstation controllers, and may games later used joysticks far better than by d-pad; some required the right joystick too (eg Ape Escape and others) - without both joysticks a system cannot run all the Playstation one games. Positioning - easy to use, just like an official controller is. bulky - depends what you mean - is it far less bulky than having to take a PSone console, portable screen attachment, power supply, controllers, wiring with you, as opposed to a unit like I made which is fully integrated and internal. Portable does not mean luggable, it means portable; this system is hendheld so entirely portable. Oh, yes, the usual PSP comments - an emulator is not proper hardware and does not run many games full speed, with proper sound and without graphic glitches; also hacking a PSP is not legal nor are many roms for it either - my system only uses official hardware so entirely legal. the amount of publicity a project gets is Unfair. sometimes a simple 5-minute Mod get rave reviews, while projects that actually require skill get no publicity.

NOBODY CARES ABOUT YOUR "PSP". PSP's have to be unbricked, downgraded, and reprogrammed. and even then it wont emulate properly. ]]>Mar 7th 2009 7:34AM
