don't get your hopes up about the thermometer though. it's only useful when you're not wearing the watch. when you're wearing the watch you end up with a body heat supplemented reading.

link it to my pc and phone via bluetooth. use all that display real estate for something useful and let me put data on it (like the databank watch used to hold!)

it can't be that hard to fill this up with some memory. a decent rechargeable battery and some crossover features from the modern world of computers. a garmin 405 for geeks, not jocks. and this is much cooler looking than the garmin.

Both Tissot and Suunto have some pretty svelte 3sensors-in-one watches. The Suunto goes as far as to give an alarm before an approaching storm and looks rad. Considering that Suunto also makes GPS, I would move my bets to those guys if you want more bang for your buck.

However, having said that, this baby of mine has been going on steady for 4 years without a change of battery and, together, we have seen a lot of this planet. If only it had a Timer.]]>Feb 4th 2009 8:05PM
