FINALLY another netbook option with a higher res screen. I would never use 1024x600 or whatever is getting thrown on most of these.

I realize its a balance between pixel density and readability of text, but 1366 resolution should be fine on a 10 inch. I have 1280x800 on my old 12-inch 700m and it's more than readable. I can always just enlarge the text in my browser with a ctrl-scroll.

I'll have to see a 1366x768 10.1" screen and see what I think. I really want to get one fully decked out. I want the best options besides the TV Tuner. Didn't know it had HDMI but that's terrific. Curious about that 'dvd slice'. Sounds like a thin external DVD drive.

I don't own a netbook but would seriously concider this bar one reason:

I would want to take it 'bout in my bag etc, but does the hard drive get damaged after a few knocks. Becuase i would rather have an sdd and be sure?

Your notebook uses STEC SSDs - the closest thing to SLCs. Despite using great harddrives, why not pump up to the new Intel processor?
