Some of that sounded ok but I would prefer that Archos do something with a bitchin' touchscreen and linux in a netbook form.  Who cares about XP home.  That's like taking pro and cutting the nads off.<br><br>Come on Archos Windows?  You make some of the most awesome linux based PMPs. You can usually take off 25% from MSRP for the cheapest street price.<br><br>Battery life is probably the same as any other netbook once you run the same power management software in the background as Samsung NC10 or any other netbook. Laptop magazine compares the Archos 3-cell battery life with other netbooks with 6-cell batteries.<br><br>I don't think that there are battery miracles, all netbooks work the same. If you want to extend the battery life, do some tricks lowering the screen backlight dynamically and lower the power level of the main processor using basic power management software. Don't buy Archos unless you like burning your money. In this global economy, spend your hard earned money on highly rated products from reliable companies. Do not spend it on junk made by one of the worst companies (Archos).<br><br>ARCHOS WILL NOT SURVIVE THIS ECONOMIC DOWNTURN. THEY WILL GO UNDER.
