It would be the perfect portable device for Internet browsing, watching a movie, reading a book, checking e-mail, and potentially games. The stylus/pen here does make sense in one regard: SmartQ has indicated "Chinese character input method" as one feature of this little device and if that means handwriting recognition, it's obviously a whole lot easier to write Chinese characters with a stylus than with your finger.

If SmartQ holds to form, this device will use an ADI Blackfin processor and probably a Wolfson codec to handle the audio. ]]>Feb 13th 2009 5:25AM
