Any PC that was "Basic" would not necessarily run "Glass" and any pc that was “Capable” only had to meet the reqs of being "Basic". I think that is the only way to get it through Ballmer’s humungous sweaty melon that Vista is crap and always will be crap no matter how he hides the bad sales numbers by counting XP sales as Vista licenses. I'm not saying Bill was a saint but he knew to drop Millennium like a bad penny and move on. Ballmer did his best to force Vista down our throats with new PC sales.

Vista is a bloated pig. Vista SP1 is a bloated pig with lipstick. They could have made it better than XP by making XP more efficient, instead they caked code on top of old code. Only idiots would think it had to be more processor and memory demanding because it was newer. Anyone who has done ANY code tweaking/programming knows you can make things more efficient if you want to and with the number of lines of code in XP – do you really think there weren’t things that could have been tightened?

Transparent borders aren’t going to make a business want to upgrade their OS, improved speeds, better multitasking etc – that is what sells and OS to a business which is MS’s bread and butter. For those who claim it is more stable than XP – what the hell are you doing? I have 50 apps loaded on my PC and haven’t had crash in 6 years. I support over 1000 desktops and not one of my clients has had a bluescreen (except one who killed an update midway and rebooted).

boe

Comments on "Vista Capable" lawsuit loses class action status, relevance

Boe - I'm calling bullcrap on your post.
