I sometimes bike to work, close to an hour's trip, and of course I want tunes, but the capacity to answer calls on the road is great. So why not just play music on my phone? Because I don't want to kill the battery on my phone, that's why. And, the pmp has a bigger battery anyway.

As I understand it, these Sammy pmps pair with both the phone AND the headset, and when a call comes in, the music's paused. I wonder if the P3 will have support for a desktop dock? The S9's design makes a charging/playback dock impossible. Also it can't be run well charging either. I hope the P3 can. I'm not fond of the Sansa and Zune, but at least they have charging docking stations for home use.
