Like Giga says it has worse colour reproduction, but it is perfectly acceptable for everything unless you work on images as a profession. TN Panels are said to have bad color, etc, but I primarily use my desktop for 3 things.
1) Gaming
2) Surfing
3) Watching Movies - Note these are DIVX/VXID usually and not HD or anything.

So is a good TN OK?

The color reproduction is VERY different, and altought i only used it while sitting on my desk the viewing angles bother me if I lay back in my chair. i can tell you it costs $280 as an addition to a desktop setup, so standalone i'd guess it'll cost around $300.

i will be getting a new desktop (windows 7)... i want a tv which will be used for both desktop and xbox 360. 32 inch would be perfect, if i bought a top of the line 1080p panasonic tv will resolution be ok for the pc display, all i use it for is surfing the net
