This is a great way to have the new phone when you don't like your old one. Simply call LG and say poor voice quality when calling 911.
Then you have mass recall on your model and get a new model.

ps- I really don't get it, there is no difference calling 911 or your mom. Also good luck with those replacements. The LG150 snafu in Canada is a joke. They started out offering 3 phones, cut it to two, ran out of stock, and asked Bell and its other VPCs to offer the cheapest samsung phone instead.
