The memory already had heatsinks, and I had good airflow, but the RAM still got too hot, even at stock speeds.  A ram fan blowing directly over top did the trick, forcing air into the little spaces between the DIMMs.<br><br>Aside from personal experiences, it's pretty well-kown that OC'd RAM will need additional cooling.  Also, there are more memory limitations on SODIMM modules because of their smaller size.<br><br>I really don't see how it's practical. That thing was just kinda unstable.  I had an Asus model first, and it eventually died, I replaced with an eVGA model, and the RAM did run a bit cooler, but it was still hot (less than 5C difference).  RAM compatibility was a royal pain on that thing too.
