1080p on a 15" display would be ridiculous. Unless the OS and the web started to support it. Can you imagine how small text and images would be? I'd like to upgrade to a newer 15" MBP but won't until they update the display to support 1920x1200.

For those complaining about the resolution of 1920x1200 on a 15" display, I have 2 responses:
1 - I've used the 1920x1200 resolution on a 15" display with the Dell provided to me by my company, and it is perfectly legible.
2 - If you don't like it, you can use "Preferences" and set the resolution to something that works for you ... hence the name "Preferences."

I like Apple's MBP, but don't want to schlep around a 17" MBP when the 15" is just fine. I'd gladly pay an extra £200 to get the better display on the 15" model. The truth is 1440x900 is way too low for a pro device.
