I developed a touchscreen Kitchen app. It has Recipes, Mixed drinks, Music playlists, 3 timers, grocery list via a UPC scanner, to do list, and more. Same price, usually better specs (i.e. non-Atom processor), roughly same screen size, and mobility is a *huge* perk even if you will only occasionally carry it around. <br><br>This new model at least has a touch-screen as a fairly unique feature, but older ones didn't have even that. Isn't that called a "tablet PC".  So this is a tablet that is not portable.  And it is under-powered to boot.  Great, sign me up.  NOT.<br><br>Ok, kidding aside, I can see where this might be put to a specific use, as some have already suggested here.  But as a general purpose PC, I don't think so.  I can get a pretty decent laptop for 6 bills.<br><br>Oh, and the whole kitchen PC thing.  I don't need my kitchen PC to be touchscreen.  Sure, that would be OK.  But I really want it to have a good voice recognition interface.  When I am in the kitchen, my hands are occupied with cooking, or cleaning something. You could playback HD video on it, I've been doing that on my i945GCLF2 for months now and love it.
