a touchscreen does not need a mouse !!! therefore no flat surface required, no secondary unit to interface with. yes i can use a gyro mouse, but this is way more handy.


WHY would you need a touchscreen at work ?

Ok, kidding aside, I can see where this might be put to a specific use, as some have already suggested here. But as a general purpose PC, I don't think so. I can get a pretty decent laptop for 6 bills.

Oh, and the whole kitchen PC thing. I don't need my kitchen PC to be touchscreen. Sure, that would be OK. But I really want it to have a good voice recognition interface. When I am in the kitchen, my hands are occupied with cooking, or cleaning something.
