I remember back in the day when Asus was just a company that made all the little cheap crappy stuff on the market like $4 mice and what not.<br>This is a tour de force of design and forward thinking.<br>It is also a huge bi$*# slap to apple if you ask me (and dell and hp and almost any one of the other big boys, too).<br>It turns out good design and innovation can both be done in white at price points which are not ridiculous.<br>Who knew?<br><br>The two screen notebook idea should be copied for the next kindle (or whatever competitor).<br>Though it would need to have some way to be alternatively folded open with just one page showing as many people do now to read a paperback with one hand.<br>But... being able to hold a book open with two facing pages of e-ink.<br>Now that is a future I like the sound of.<br>Reminds me both of yesterday and tomorrow.<br><br>...and doubles as its own case.<br>Sweet.<br><br>Hmmm... or maybe even something that folds open with a page in the middle as well.<br>On one set of 'pages' have two e-ink screens and the other set - two lcd screens with full multi-touch and haptic response.<br>Give it all to me weighing less than 2.5lbs please and with good battery life.<br>I will pay $400 and want it by X-mas please-&-thanks.<br><br>- mike]]></description><dc:creator><![CDATA[mike]]></dc:creator><pubDate>Mar 4th 2009 2:29AM</pubDate></item><item><title><![CDATA[Comments on ASUS' morning CeBlitz roundup]]></title><link>http://www.engadget.com/2009/03/03/asus-morning-ceblitz/</link><guid isPermaLink="true">http://www.engadget.com/2009/03/03/asus-morning-ceblitz/</guid><description><![CDATA[... also a good quality gps built in.<br>And what the heck... make the outside solar charging and durable.<br>;-)<br><br>- still mike]]></description><dc:creator><![CDATA[mike]]></dc:creator><pubDate>Mar 4th 2009 2:31AM</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
