I don't think the PSP2 would be called the PSP-4000. The PSP-1000 to 3000 have been revisions of the PSP system, whereas the PSP2 would be totally different altogether. Hey engadget, if you're going to report, do it right. Everyone keeps referring to the PSP-4000 as a PSP2 and that's just stupidity running around with confusion. So instead of trying to make a headline using PSP2, call it like it is, PSP-4000.

Until the PSP gets guts that are entirely new/updated so much that future software no longer runs on the old PSPs, it's not a PSP 2 but yet another stupid (in so much that it is wasting resources from a true successor) revision.
