Their customer service is horrible! If this is how they treat a potential customer, imagine how they will treat you when you have a real problem.

I contacted sales today with a very simple question "One really important feature is for me to be able to copy text out of a PDF into a document so I can summarize for later study?"

To which they answered.
Please have a look at the Support Forum on www.mybebook.com/forum to find an answer to this question.

Which I responded with
It would have taken less than a minute to answer my question. Instead I was shown that bebook's sales has no interest in my purchase. The complete disregard has answered my question. If this is how I'm treated and I'm not even a customer, I imagine once you get my money it will be just as bad or even worse.

To which they answered
You emailed us, while at the top of the form it clearly states: this form is NOT for technical support. For these questions we have the forum, where people can help eachother. Plus, our technical staff answers questions. Other people benefit from the answers, and we don't have to reply the same emails over and over again.

Besides that, we are Sales staff, not support/technical staff.

WHAT??!!? It was pretty clear that I was asking a sales question, I have no clue how they did not grasp this, especially after I mentioned it over and over again in emails. What kind of company expects you to create an account on a forum just to ask a simple sales question? I asked Amazon the same question and they answered it within minutes and walked me through the whole device. Odd small companies usually have better customer service cause they tend to need the sale more.. oh well..

dustyny
