Single Lens Reflex refers to the unique thru-the-lens optical viewfinder system. No optical view-finder. Casual shooters don't value these things anyway, and even enthusiast shooters (That's the group I'm going to place myself in) can appreciate a smaller cam like this for times when a true dSLR is a bit big, and if it will use my K-Mount lenses and take video competitive with that from consumer-level HD cams...count me in. Not without an adapter anyways.<br><br>One of the nifty things of having such a short mounting distance though is that in theory you could adapt many different systems. I'm far more interested by Pentax, though an APS-C sensor in a Canon G11 would be interesting. Wonderful try this hybrid camera. it has no mirror box, so it's small and thin size.<br>It's really helpful to users considering choice between DSRL and compact camera.
