It's on a smaller carrier and it doesn't have the backing of a company with the kind of following that Apple has.<br><br>As more handsets trickle out onto the market on larger carriers, Android's popularity will continue to grow.  It is definitely more accessable to developers (I know dozens of brilliant developers, and NONE of them own a macintosh computer), but until the end-user market is there it just won't be as lucritive to develop for. I guess that shows that you can never have too many versions of iFart or an iPhone Flashlight...<br><br>The App store was free until just a few weeks ago when they started allowing paid apps- so now we are starting to see some of the serious developers. For me its the only thing that andriod really lacks (well that and more than one option in phone, but thats just a matter of time).
