there is adequate insurance for things that are shipped and all my credit cards offer insurance for checked baggage... that is, if you choose to pay for it. if you choose not to pay for insurance, then we must play by the airlines rules.

moreover, I feel extremely lucky now after reading this....I just transported my PS3 and dreamcast to a street fighter tournament via traveler case (unmarked) on US Airways....luckily everything was there but I shudder to think what could have been...it's stupid that we have to keep everything unlocked...and the locks they make (that are acceptable...) can be opened by TSA!
