Because those all produce laptops which have similar size (if not smaller) then the Air. I fail to understand why mApple peons always consider Apple to be the innovator while the concept of small and light laptops are already being done about 10 years ago. Even the Liberetto a long time ago was smaller then the Air and hosted for that time top specs.<br>And.. c´mon unibody like that´s so special. Plenty of other producers manage to build laptops which are small in strong shells made from carbon/magnesium/nickle alloys way before Apple considered doing something different. I have a macbook and I'm generally quite happy with it, but it's just a little too big. If they made a 12 inch 1280x800 Air, I'd be all over it.
