Video: iPhone OS 3.0 walkthrough
Many of us -- okay, a small handful of us -- wouldn't dream of putting beta firmware on our day-to-day devices, so we wanted to treat that very special group of safety-minded individuals to a once-over with iPhone OS 3.0's finer points on video. Odds are this is about as close as they'll get to the goods until Apple blesses the binary a few months from now, after all, and there's no harm in living vicariously through an Engadget editor's load-firmware-first, ask-questions-later lifestyle -- trust us. Video after the break.

You guys are sending some dirty messages!
are you referring to "g'luck" ? I thought it said something else at first, too.
You'd think since this is a video about the iPhone, that you would post a video format that is viewable on the iPhone's browser. QuickTime video anyone?
Oh, yeah... still no flash support on iPhone.
Tell you what, I'll upload the video so you can download it directly on your iPhone. Oh no, it cant do that either.
Just wondering if anyone has installed this on an original iPhone?
If so, does MMS actually not work?
Why is this a hardware requirement? What makes this not work on the original iPhone?
Thanks
Adam
I would probably chalk it up to the data speeds. Apple may not seem satisfied to offer support for MMS on edge speeds with their iphone.

Ok, I guess.
But that really makes no sense. If I can do internet, you tube and email.
I can also do App store and iTunes over Edge, why can't I do picture messaging?
Adam
My guess is because MMS is carrier dependent? but I'm not to familiar with how AT&T and other GSM networks send MMS over their networks.
