Big points in its favour:
1) onboard SD card storage (and embedded, too). The DSi has the capability to do lots of things it could not before, at least could not without a flash card or add-on of some description.
2) app store. Yes please to this. The DS can be so much more. I was always perplexed at how they needlessly limited the capabilities of the original DS (and DS Lite). At the very least, that calendar was begging for an organiser with text input by default...but user-storage was never offered. The default alarm was also shocking...
3) finally it can support WPA encryption (but not for regular DS games...)

All these add up to a lot more possibilities. Better internet integration and included browser adds up to far more possiblities in itself. Of course all this costs more :)

tekdroid

Comments on Nintendo working up "major app strategy" for DSi?

my [blue] one is already preordered on amazon :)

what more could a hedgehog want (besides better games. f*ckin' sega.)

skyblaze

Comments on Nintendo working up "major app strategy" for DSi?

thats my line fool.

trevor

Comments on Nintendo working up "major app strategy" for DSi?

how'd i know that would call you out, trevor XD

skyblaze

Comments on Nintendo working up "major app strategy" for DSi?

I'm not really too into the DSi.
