He works construction, and he demonstrated its durability to me by throwing it off the second floor of his building into the bed of his truck. Where I work we use toughbooks exclusively. It is bulky and heavy but durability is the key here. This Toughbook should be compared with the Dell XFR series durable laptop.. they look like cousins. I bought the Dell XFR because it has better pricing and picks up where the Toughbook left off.. Solid State drives, in the screen built in keyboard lighting, better design for port covers and cheaper!
