Worst thing that could happen when I use my netbook is if I run out of juice. If I plan to work plugged in, I'll just bring a notebook. I want enough battery life in my netbook that I don't need to think about it at all - except to maybe plug it in each evening.

For this Samsung, I can't think see an advantage over the 1000HE, but maybe it has a nicer keyboard or something. Now, I know a lot of people jumped on the EEE 1000HE. I'm really loving this N110 because it looks a hell of a lot better than the 1000HE and its battery life is better and it seems the system performance is the same. But it does cost a little more so WHICH ONE SHOULD I BUY???

Pros of samsung: battery, brand name, looks, size, weight
Pros of 1000HE: PRICE, supposedly better processor (which by tests doesn't seem like it does much more than the N270), ability to overclock/powersaver.

So I guess N110 would be the same situation, the memory should be upgradeable but Samsung will deny it. We shall see when someone actually bought the retail version and write a review about it.

- must be under 400USD (~550AUD)
- must hackintosh well (everything working - BT, 3G, sleep etc.)
- must have 3G built in

Those of you moaning about ion, dual core, 720p screens are missing the point and you'd be better off with a 600-800USD fully fledged laptop, say 13.3inch wide. You could even get one with a crappy discrete card for that price.

Price, size/weight and always connected.
