Digital Album: it's a digiframe, just more capacious
Okay, so maybe this mysterious Digital Album really is nothing more than a relatively plain 7-inch digital photo frame, but the included 4GB of storage is certainly appreciated. If, for whatever reason, you honestly feel the need to keep more than a thousand or so shots of little Joey on there, the integrated SD card reader can help you take things up to 20GB overall. Also of note, there's a rechargeable battery that can show off slideshows for around three hours, and if you leave your AC adapter at home, you'll be thrilled to know that this one can rejuvenate via USB. It'll ship in around a fortnight in tan /silver or black / pink, and you'll be asked to pay £179 ($256) to take one home.

glad i'm not the only one sick of reading those comments
Do you need to have a crappy economy to remind to you not to buy useless products like these?

Agreed.

Euhm...March 31st? I think I missed a memo here...
When they have 300 dpi color e-paper in these things, maybe. But having only 3 hours of playback (http://www.iwantoneofthose.com/new-arrivals/album/index.html) seems pretty useless to me...
what's wrong w/3 hrs of playback? it's not like you're gonna take this out of the house. and even if you did, squeezing more than 3 hrs. of pics onto 4 gigs means that 300 dpi screen won't do shit for you...
Actually a really neat thing if you're into caring around a photo album. I met the guy who developed this (or at least got a chinese manufacturer to make it) in the International section at CES in January. Oddly no Engadget or Gizmodo guys to be found around there.
How about answering the first question that you'd ask about this product: What's the resolution?
I think this is a great idea. My parents still keep tons of photo albums around from way back.
Which fades first, the ink from the photos or the memory in an SD card? SD cards are so cheap now, it's about the same price to buy an SD card for each of your albums as it is to print them (of course you don't have a physical print). But, if you had one of these albums you could keep a CD case of SD cards around and slap 'em in. :)
