Plugged in it could run all day and how often do you not have access to external power? Way brighter than this.<br><br>....now if they were to heatsink it like they do with flashlights, ie. thermally connecting the LED to the whole metallic case, they could push the whole 1A into it and get absolutely crazy brightness levels<br><br>But then battery would be the problem. In a flashlight, the batteries fill almost the whole case.
