If one has a Windows Mobile smartphone, they can make their own REDFLY using an EeePC 701 and Microsoft's free Remote Display powertoy for the same price as a REDFLY that can act as a notebook on its own. My EeePC 701 4G has WinXP installed and customized and boots up completely within 30 seconds. If I were to optimize it for smartphone display, I could shave 10 secs off boot time.

I've contacted Celio Corp repeatedly about dropping their price for the REDFLY to $99. They always responded with "sales are doing great".... as they dropped the price from $499, to $399, to $199.
