I hope the screen is Full HD, at 1920-1080 or 1920-1200 even; and that the pricing is around 650-800 euro, maximum. Sounds like a nice laptop to consider!

JCD - NomadWarrior

Comments on MSI launches AMD-powered GX733 gaming laptop

Is there really any point to full HD on a 17 inch screen?

A.C.E.R.

Comments on MSI launches AMD-powered GX733 gaming laptop

yes there is. Take a look at the 17" MBP ( OS and feelings aside ).
Oh and fyi fullHD is not applicable to computer screens. WUXGA is the correct term.

cg0def

Comments on MSI launches AMD-powered GX733 gaming laptop

If I even see the phrase 'Gamin Latop' I don't look for a reasonable price, this end of the market is still awaiting the seismic shock that the netbook had on the laptop market... maybe the ION GFX GPU will make a difference, time will tell...

bigsofty

Comments on MSI launches AMD-powered GX733 gaming laptop

I guess this'll have vista on it? With the prices where they are, it's a no-brainer to go with a minimum of 4gb. The CPU really won't affect gameplay at all, it's been proven over and over again that the GPU is the workhorse in all gaming situations. My problem is that MSI like to launch products and then drag their feet making them available. Let's see it on the street, MSI!!!!!!!

HTPCJunkie
