The wheel seems unimaginative, though. Like something that was used to control volume on cassette players, DECADES ago.

Also, if I'm not mistaken it seems that the controls and the screen are on different sides of the device. That means that the learning curve for the ergonomics of this device will be pretty annoying.

john girgis

Comments on RAmos unveils its Skynet-approved Terminator T12 media player

Creative has this scroll wheel in a lot of their mp3 players. The Nomad Jukebox 2 had the wheel that would click down or up but spring right back while letting you press the wheel in to select. This meant that you would have to keep pressing up or down or hold up or down to scroll, which was slow and innacurate. The Nomad Jukebox 3's wheel, however, actually scrolled up and down, which made scrolling through large lists much easier and accurate. If the T12 has the latter style of wheel then that could certainly be a boon.

Rick White

Comments on RAmos unveils its Skynet-approved Terminator T12 media player

Er... it has a touchscreen too, a five inch one by the look of the specs sheet?

What did you want, a complete set of navigation buttons?
