Definitely looks more interesting than macbook. I have been using the Sony FW keyboard, and the spacing took time to get used to, but it is easily one of the best keyboards i have ever used. Acer is trying to mimic that, but not properly from the looks of it.

Anyway, the ASUS Eee PC 1008HA was beautiful, too, EXCEPT for the touchpad... And I don't get it, it's centered in the entire Eee PC range BUT the "high-style" 1008HA. I want a GOOD LOOKING MACHINE! That could do its job well and weight close to nothing on my hand luggage.

I've been waiting for a "close to perfection" netbook/notebook for quite some time. I was an Eee PC 701 early adopter (and one of the early to become unhappy about its limitations, AKA small screen, huge display bezel, short battery life, etc, etc). Sorry but it took too much time for the market to grow more mature and I ended up with a MacBook Air. Incredible piece of hardware! Not intended for the heaviest tasks but then again, it's lighter than most netbooks and sturdier, too.

Now if I had something like this Aspire Timeline before, maybe the "Air" would be just for breath...
