As it's not really a holiday (easter doesn't count as a major shopping period for electricals in my book) most places have enough of the console in stock and it's not the "must have" item. Had this been Christmas on the other hand, and a hyped release then you would no doubt be making a pretty penny on eBay.

You would be better off buying around September-October, crossing your fingers Nintendo don't drop the price (they haven't got a history of it so you should be safe) and then eBaying them the week before Christmas Day. Then again, it's not a "new" product like the Wii Fit/Wii was a couple of winters ago so don't count on there being a resale market.
