First, verizon is CDMA. Second Sprint is the first to get the Touch Diamond in the US and Sprint is CDMA. No Slot. And Third, neither does the GSM version have a slot. if you don't believe me go to thw HTC website and lookup the specs.<br><br>Now the HTC Touch Pro does have a MicroSD slot. Anyways, no of this matter cause Verizon has a better phone. the Samsung Omnia and the Blackberry Strom. The software on the phone is so bad, that it might as well be a generic phone.  First, Motorola cripples the interface, then Verizon cripples it some more.  I keep waiting for Verizon to bring us a decent smartphone. The initial interface on WinMo is horrible. I spent about $60 on third-party software for my Moto Q and now the interface is decent.<br>The interface on the Diamond looks better than the Q but I would still customize it.<br><br>SBSH.net for 'Facade' then go to the forum to download a different interface. Other good WinMo programs are Rightmenu, Sprite Backup, and PhoneAlarm. Multimedia function could be better, but I have an iPod for that. You would think they'd have the guts to put proper screen shots in there, funny. <br><br>I don't get the phone thing now days, all they are is a screen, not exactally exciting, for me anyway. No mater how crap some things on the iPhone are non of them look anywhere near as good to me, they definatly lack the cool factor. There's a new cockamamie statement everyday about why the iPhone isn't a true smartphone.  Well I guess it doesn't really matter as long as Apple can sell millions of them. My contract expired more than a year ago, and I waited for the Glyde to come out, which I promptly returned. I've been duct taping together my dying LG flip, which can't make it much longer. None of Verizon's current offerings or future possibilities seem at all promising. Why can't they put out a not too bulky touchscreen phone with a full QWERTY keyboard that works well? An 8GB microSD card costs $15 and you always have an option of getting the 16GB for $45 or less in a couple months.  Built in storage is not replaceable and just plain old bad.
