Who would deliberately pay money for one that colour?
if it wasnt glossy and they changed it to Matte then i might consider it.
I'm waiting for the PSP2.
Kinda excited but at the same time not so much, unless they announce that the games you own will be able to be downloaded free of charged off there store.
What the hell am i supposed to do with these games that i already own that i wana keep playing. I DOn't want both systems cuz that seems like it will clutter everything up.

Kids, as someone pointed out, may like it. Sony is full of crap with their "DSi is mainly for kids" stuff. All these colors they keep putting out also appeal to a younger audience.
I had no idea color had a specific age group. Maybe it's only immature adults who associate color with age and gender.

Its a photoshop, I can tell by the pixels and seeing some photoshops in my time.
I agree that it is a photoshop, mainly because of the colour of the piece of plastic on the bottom left corner. All of the other PSPs have a grey notch.

that is not a photoshop if you're basing it off of the grey piece on the bottom left. The metallic blue and red psp 2000 had color toned bottom left pieces as well!

Yeah its a photoshop, the silver bit that the lanyard attaches to is green as well. Still it would look great in green, just not THAT shade of green

the psp is pretty much dead sadly. i have had one since 2006. resistance badly sucked. i have very moderate faith in the newly announced assassins creed and rock band games for it, other than that, kill psp and get the psp2 out already!
I found resistance to be quite good, and I don't think the psp is anywhere near dead, and the calls for a PSP2 seems to me a bit premature in light of 50 million+ sales and a slate of new games on the way.

why does everyone like matte finishes, and yea ok no fingerprints, but I think the glossy looks better then matte. Like flat paint, who would want that. I hate how Nintendo didnt finish off the case with the glossy plastic.

I have yet to see anyone with this PSP which is cool. I live in NYC so I use my PSP mainly listening to music on the walk to the train and I'll play on the train and listen to more music on the walk to work.. Depending on what type of day it is at work, I'll put some movies in to and what that or finish a game that I might have..Though there not alot of them.. I tend to try to get games that have alot of reply value like Superstar dust portable or something like that.. With the new games coming to the system and the potential of the new PSP2 things can turn around by next year.

why dont Sony concentrate on putting some good games out for this thing, why waste time coming up with different coloured devices??

For all of those waiting for the PSP2, I hate to break it to you, but this is it. They just want to use bright colors so it looks different from the PSP.

Not that it's just Sony, MS and Ninty do exactly the same thing: if weekly sales are flagging or they want to spike interest against a competitors new release, then its time to wheel out a another color or slap a sticker on it can call it a "special edition". Sigh.
love that colour, its so nice...deff goanna get it! neon colours are actually quite fashionable outside the geek dome at the moe, just saying. might actually be quite successful. btw i am no child, just have space in my life for colours other than black, white and silver or various combinations of the three. interstingly everyone seemed to love the res 5 edition of the 360, i hated it, looked nasty and other than including res 5 in the box, what was res 5 about it?

THIS IS NOTHING NEW! I have a shot of this color PSP from E3 2004. They had 15 - 20 different colors on display and this was one of them. I doubt this is a new picture. And yes, its ugly.
