Every single song and app we purchased from App Store/iTunes is already synched to our computers and whether we buy a new iphone or ipod touch, we can only upgrade to a new apple made device in order to access our content we invested in. I love my iPhone and Mac but I don't need interject into every Engadget topic.

2) You audio can be moved to any other device you wish. Video is DRMed without an included method for removal and apps are tied to the device's OS and display. Expecting these mobile apps to run on other devices doesn't make sense and sense other smartphone makers have their own app stores (or carriers that sell apps for handsets) the situation is the same for any smartphone owner who has invested substantially in 3rd-party apps. If a handset comes out that suits my needs better I'll gladly buy a few new apps again. We even do it for PCs within the same OS after there have significant updates to the app.

3) These changes will be considered by iPhone owners. Getting an instant-on OLED screen with a higher resolution and lower power usage is an important thing. Though the results of power saving OLED over LCD currently aren't significant on such a small display at this point.

Bender Bending Rodriguez

Comments on Samsung: OLED screens on half of mobile phones within 5 years

Apple slaves take heart, there are devs out there working to free you from DRM with conversion apps.
