Those of you who didn't see the manually manage music & videos checkbox must be blind. Or just use Winamp. oh and STFU please. Just because you don't know any better doesn't mean that it's not there. SO int he case of the Palm Pre, yes this is a downside that you can only manage music manually. If you don't have the option to Sync your library then yes you will lose a point to the iPhone.

zenstylejunglist

Comments on Leaked AT&T doc slams the Palm Pre

Yes I realize that, but when you shorten a word, it should be shortened so that when you say it out loud it sound like shorter version of the word you are shortening. When you say "sync" it sounds like sink, which is how the beginning of the word synchronize sounds. I don't need to be held hostage to iTunes in order to transfer my music. I can't believe they list drag'n'drop as drawback :) Most other mp3 players out there allow you to manage storage via explorer because it only makes sense. Apple forces you to use iTunes simply so you can buy stuff from it.
I really hate synch feature btw, because it gives me very little control and SCREWS things up most of the time. Couple of times synch just deleted all the apps I had on my iTouch just because I used fresh copy of iTunes. Also every time I delete movie on iTouch after synch it's back but not playable (because file is not actually there).

Bratan

Comments on Leaked AT&T doc slams the Palm Pre

I agree with you but you don't need iTunes to manage your music, WinAmp has Ipod support:

http://www.simplehelp.net/2007/07/07/how-to-use-winamp-to-manage-your-ipod/

or you can use this: http://mlipod.sourceforge.net/

haX0r

Comments on Leaked AT&T doc slams the Palm Pre

It's so damn simple, can't understand why anyone would believe that drag and drop is not available in iTunes.
