I have 50+ blu-rays already, but I can't watch any of them on my current in-dash DVD player. Of course you're not going to see the difference between blu-ray and DVD on a 7" screen, but just being able to play blu-rays is what matters.

Many of the studios are releasing Blu-Ray with DVD and/or Digital Copy editions. It would be much cheaper to buy an in-dash unit with DVD playback with an ipod / video-in feature.

I know the answer to this (because yummy-mummies in SUV's aren't going to get themselves a copy of CloneDVD anytime soon), but is using some foresight and ripping all your BD's to an Ipod connected to an in-dash not going to be about 10x more convinient in the long run?
