Best of all, you could unplug the supplies iPhone like headset from the transmitter and jack in your own cans using the 3.5mm socket built into the transmitter. And those were a 2007 model. id did find that pairing was less reliable with my Nokia E71 and more reliable with my Sony Ericsson K800i, but I have found that the E71 metal case does effect all wireless aspects of it's otherwise excellent performance. (IE, the E71 also dropped calls where my K800i does not.)

Anyway, if these more recent phones from Sony are as good as the DS200, you won't go wrong. The sound quality was very good even walking well outside the 30ft range (LoS). Walking around my little 2 bedroom apartment never lost the tunes either. There was a few problems I did find. If the iPhone goes to sleep and you pause the music using the controls on the headset when you try to resume the music it will cut in and cut out until you go back to the iPhone and unlock it. Like i said the play and pause buttons work, volume controls work and even the answer a phone call work, but for some reason the skip forward and backwards will not. The version I got retails i believe $80 but with employee it was only like $36 so got to love that.

Kris K.

Comments on Sony rolls out new Bluetooth headphones for in-ear or out

It apears that both units have a mic built in, is that for phones? or active noise cancellation?

patrick

Comments on Sony rolls out new Bluetooth headphones for in-ear or out

It IS beautiful.

superhobo

Comments on Sony rolls out new Bluetooth headphones for in-ear or out

Should have put the dangly bit on a lanyard and all buttons on the face.
