Also, I think leaving out 3g was a decision made to increase battery life which at 15 days of standby, is considerably better than the bold. This phone is a no go without 3g for me,I do a lot of surfing and whatnot on my phones but need a good email support. With 3g this phone is in my pocket, without it, its riding pine. I've had this since January and I have to say I _rarely_ miss 3G. The Edge is fast on this (BB compression) and maybe where you live 99% of the people don't have use of WiFi, but there are far people like me who have WiFi at home and at the Office nevermind some spots in between. You know there are municipalities that blanket their downtown with WiFi right? I think over 17 million iPhone users might disagree with you. and yes, I do think the Pre will be something special...but I guess the hundreds of positive previews on the phone must be inaccurate also, right?
