I'd rather get something with a USER REPLACEABLE BATTERY (yeah, that was a jab at apple - it was a very very stupid and enviro-unfriendly move). Two extended user-replaceable batteries will do 25h+ (together) on newer ultraportables (see: X200/X300 and upcoming Lenovo offerings)

2) 9 or 12 cell batteries- they're usually much cheaper than this, but they do add weight to a laptop
3) AC/DC power supplies that can work in cars, airplanes, and AC outlets. Every other company offers one with their laptops (and Targus has one that works with most laptops) Apple, however, does not. Heck, it'd be nice if Apple licensed Magsafe to other companies, but they don't. Sometimes it feels to me like no one at Apple is thinking with their head.
