We had that for decades.  This is active, it has batteries, buttons, communicated over RF to server but the main location ID is over IR.  So it is room-level accurate.  This is cool tech.  <br><br>And about big brother... Nobody will use it if the people developing the apps for this thing uses it as big brother.
