If you want to maintain that the VB was a "shoddy" system -- and if I may put on my fanboy hat for a moment -- Nintendo has released 9 gaming platforms (NES, SNES, VB, N64, GCN, Wii, GB, GBA, DS). One of those 9 platforms was "shoddy."

For comparison, Sony has released four platforms (PS, PS2, PS3 and PSP), and of those one was shoddy (PS2 was fraught with disc read issues). Microsoft was released two platforms (XB, XB360) and one of those was shoddy (XB360 RROD).

So, yeah...it makes sense that they're the most trusted gaming company. I'm not really sure in what way they could be considered reputable but perhaps things have changed. Nintendo DSI(GameBoy) - Better then DS, It seems that the games supporting dual screen have been increased and the fun level seems higher.
