I'm just relating to what I saw on the review I saw, don't get me wrong I think it's awesome for Media Server & etc. but you speak of optimization from media providers as if it's a walk in the park. I'd say don't hold your breath on that. I have high hopes for ION but I will hold out till those optimizations roll in. If Adobe would get their act together and enable the GPU for Flash playback then the ION platform would be a really good solution.

As it stands, I've seen little real improvement in Flash since Adobe bought Macromedia, and they've been promising/writing about GPU acceleration for ages.
