Especially in light of Verizons CTO saying that they will have to drop their assinine pricing to stay competitive long term. $199 SUBZIDIZED?! They are making about that in Commissions aloen with activation, you can get a brand new one at best buy for only $100 more.

Lets see, AT&T for $49 with faster 3.5G or slow & expensive Verizon for $200. Verizon eats AT&T for lunch nationwide as far as coverage is concerned. While AT&T concentrates on the cities, Verizon's network is everywhere AT&T is and in the rural areas and on the highways where AT&T offers EDGE service for their customers...and by the way, AT&T is also $59.99 per month, as is Verizon.

Speed-wise, I have compared AT&T to Verizon and I have found their 3G card speeds comparible...and Sprint's EVDO Rev A speed is the same as both of them, also. In area where there are a lot of iPhones, Verizon and Sprint's 3G are faster than AT&T. But for my money, I will take Verizon or Sprint's data product any day over AT&T. When Sprint teams with Clear with the 3G/4G card, look out everyone else!!!

common sense

Comments on Verizon's HP Mini 1151NR netbook hits stores May 17th

As long as there's a 5GB limit, they can all forget about this guy being a customer.

Level 5

Comments on Verizon's HP Mini 1151NR netbook hits stores May 17th

5GB=

5 days of web browsing

or 2 movies in divx and 2 days of web browsing

Verizon Wireless = Crap

Stevenfb

Comments on Verizon's HP Mini 1151NR netbook hits stores May 17th

@Stevenfb

yea, bash verizon all you want, AT&T and Sprint have the same freakin cap

m3nphls

Comments on Verizon's HP Mini 1151NR netbook hits stores May 17th

Australia has the same 5gb caps but ive learnt to live with it.
