I picked up a PS3IR-Pro for $100 dollars about 8 months ago, and when I first looked into it, I was remember being surprised Logitech hadn't come up with a solution. As long as the competition can't compete I don't see the price dropping much. Works just as good as new. And no matter how many times I tell them, x is like enter and circle is like the back button, they don't remember or care to know. So, this will be advantageous. Logitech has the Nyko codes in their database, so I've been using my Harmony to control my PS3 for months.  There are two downsides- The USB ports are not powered until the PS3 is on, so you have to power on the PS3 from the console, or from a game controller. No.  But it's about being able to use one device to control everything.  It is really so crazy that if someone is sitting down to just watch a movie that they only want one remote?  With a device like this you can control your PS3 along with all your other AV equipment with a single remote.  You would never even have to pick up a single controller.  But, yeah, the controller can get the job done. I hope FS gets it in stock soon.<br> I have the Nyko.  in addition to mentioned drawbacks.  The nyko is "technically" a controller.  -> uses USB port, registers in #1 controller spot if you leave it plugged in, AND, it has a VERY minimal amount of commands.  only controller button presses. It's not passing BT remote codes.<br><br>The Logitech sends remote codes. As the BT remote.   Power on without needing controller.
