The article says "both" companies sold over 20 million; meaning each company sold over 20 million, or a total (of the two companies) of over 40 million. I do admit though that I wish some of the newer touch screen phones would come with a more user friendly OS. Android is great, but pre cupcake it felt like beta software.. and then there's the all too popular OS X, but besides those two eehhh..

But if you like your Symbian and WinMo then I'm glad you have your own opinions but for me I just don't find them as user-friendly. But to be honest after using it for two years now and I think this OS is rock solid. Much more stable than Nokia's S60.

Touch screen capabilities are far away from the Iphone, but than again, touch screens were more of a niche when these phones were around.
