Yeah, like all those people who upgrade their PC and spend hundreds of dollars on video cards when they could have just bought an HP Blackbird in the first place... or all those people that buy a $100K house and spend $150K upgrading it to their likes and tastes when they could have just bought a real $250K house in the first place....

People mod their cars because its a low initial cost, and then I can spend $1000 here, $500 there and have FUN installing it myself. Its a HOBBY. Fine for cheap car where people would just put a brick through the window, less good for a bugatti veyron which people might try harder to steal...

My previous Lexus came with such a device. It was awesome being able to cool the car, in the scorching Miami sun/heat before getting in to the car.

I don't know why Lexus stopped offering them...
