However, you should know, seeing as you play these games... that there is a higher number of people that think they ARE heroes playing games like, Guitar hero, Rock Band, and now DJ Hero. More so than the people playing flight sims, and FPS'.

Turntable-as-instrument is bullcrap. So now they are making a fake turntable when the original thing is fake?
The whole turntable thing is 99% form and 1% function anyway. The culture of it is about as valid as a superstar cocktail juggler (wait for that video game perhiperal). The headphone/neck crick and the frantic knob twiddling and record manipulating with the deadly serious facial expression is done in such a way as to imply as much difficulty as possible. It's one of the most shallow fashions (and that's what it is, a fashion not an activity) to emerge in recent decades.
As you can see I hate that crap, now they are going to sell a 200$ perhiperal to make it look like your trying to make it look like you are doing something significant? djing is hard - - I would know. I am one.

It is not about knob twisting.

It is about blending tracks and beat matching songs *by ear* . . try this sometime . . this is something that takes years to learn. . . being able to hear the bpm of different tracks and being able to tell when they are perfectly in line is difficult . . .

scratching is an even more difficult task. . . youtube a qbert skratch video sometime . . . and try to replicate even a fraction of what they do . .

this is an artform that takes years to learn how to do. . . sorry buddy but you obviously know nothing about djing.
